It does get packed and wait times exceeding 20 min is not uncommon, so come early during the late night happy hour to get seated the quickest. The place is lively and bustling all night. The poke hand roll with its salmon and tuna mix is light but packed with flavor. Izakaya Go is the real deal for authentic Japanese izakaya dining in Vegas. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, making it feel like you've stepped into a local gem in Tokyo. The Miso Cod was perfection--flaky, buttery, and packed with umami. The yakitori skewers were grilled to smoky, juicy perfection, with each bite showcasing the kitchen's mastery of simple, bold flavors. And the sushi --incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, rivaling high-end sushi bars. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the menu is full of options to explore. Authentic and delicious, will return

This place is absolutely incredible. Located at the start of Chinatown, it's literally the first plaza coming from the strip. Great vibes, feel very authentic without trying too hard. Servers are always friendly. The food is top notch but the prices are not ridiculous. This is in izakaya so please order appropriately: get drinks and food to share. If you're looking for large, personal potions this is not the place. There are a lot of izakaya options in this area but Izakaya Go distinguishes itself on the basis of food quality and authenticity.

So happy they've stepped up their game and took care of all the health code violations from two years ago. They have an "A" rating as of August of this year. Honestly, I can only comment on the Sushi as we have yet to try anything else. Their sushi is scrumptious. Tastes fresh and it's impressive to watch them make. The California Roll had a little too much cucumber and very little crab meat. My vote for winning roll goes to the Spicy Tuna Roll. There's a wonderful spicy mayo that brings the whole thing together. I love the atmosphere. For me it's comfortable. I can see where they'd get busy. Pro Tip: if you eat at the counter, you get better, faster service. Not that there's anything wrong with anywhere else in the room.

This place is a blast! I was amazed by the food quality across a menu so immense. They basically have the entire Japanese cuisine on offer and seem to do it justice. Our party of four was able to get in without a reservation on a Saturday night by arriving just after 5. I wouldn't try that at 7! Fave yakitori: chicken meatball, chicken heart, Hokkaido scallop. Some of the skewers needed a little salt or weren't served hot from the grill, but all the ingredients were well cooked and delicious. The crab salad was surprisingly large and fun to eat with the crispy paper leaves. Sweet and tender sashimi. The pumpkin croquette is to die for. Wonderful sake selection at a wide range of prices. The $18 pineapple sake was enjoyed by all, including diners who prefer dry and those who prefer sweet. This may be a new favorite for us. There is so much we didn't try, it's almost like we'll get to eat at a new restaurant on our next visit.

Huge menu and everything came out fast and fresh. We tried many things on the yakitori menu and prices were great. The Uni chawanmushi was delicious. It's not a big restaurant so arrive early and make sure your name is on the wait list in the front. The servers are friendly, albeit busy. Just catch their attention and they'll come over right away.

Food - excellent Speed of delivery - excellent Value - excellent Wasn't too noisy since we came in late but glad the food quality didn't disappoint even this late at night. Main server was good. He took our order quickly. The server who originally seated us was not the friendliest - hence the 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Best dishes - chawanmushi, unagi, ika mentaiko, oysters, seasoned cabbage, beef tongue, quail eggs with bacon, and yuzu sorbet.

Long wait times, but totally worth it for their happy hour! Happy hour started at 10pm, got there at 950 and waited about 30-40 minutes for a party of 4 to be seated. Great prices on high quality food and drinks. We tried a ton of different dishes, but the oysters and hand rolls were my favorite. Honorable mention to the ranch that comes with the fish and chips (some of the best ranch ever). I would definitely go back! The happy hour is great if you wanna go with just one other person to get in quickly, but more people = more different dishes you can try!

We arrived at 5:00 to avoid the wait since it was a Friday night! You never know how busy places are in Vegas esp on Friday night! Loved the hot house sake, fried chicken and tasty salad with tuna! Those were the favs! But overall, tasty dinner with good vibes, good service and nice clean restaurant! Check this spot out!
